Funeral / Burial Costs
For All Victims of Violent Crimes
- Crime Victims Compensation → Compensation may be provided for funeral costs and burial expenses.
For Victims Under the Age of 18
- Child Bereavement Leave Act → Grants parents the right to two weeks of unpaid leave to make funeral arrangements and grieve.
- Murdered Children Funeral and Burial Assistance Act → Provides cash assistance to eligible families, paid directly to funeral establishments and/ or cemetary authorities.
